Oven Baked Chicken Wings

A simple marinade using pantry staples, resulting in tender bites of succulent oven baked chicken wing pieces perfect for any occassion!

Ingredients
  

  • 10 Whole Chicken Wings Cut into two
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • 3-4 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp dark soya sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp chilli sauce
  • 1 tbsp corn flour

Instructions
 

  • Place chicken wings in bowl. Pat dry and add in marinade ingredients. Give it a good mix. Leave in fridge for a few hours or overnight for flavours to develop.
  • Pre-heat oven to 180C. On a baking tray place a piece of baking paper (for easier clean up). Arrange chicken wing pieces.
  • Pop into oven for 30 mins. Flipping halfway thru if you prefer. If not, leave them be. Once they are out, sprinkle some sesame seeds and flinely chopped spring onions. They are ready to be served!

Notes

Top Tips:
  • Cut whole chicken pieces into two. You will get the drumette and wingette + tip.
  • Don't add too much honey as honey burns easily when baking.
  • Remove marinated chicken wings from fridge and allow to come to room temperature before popping into oven.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds/spring onions/red chilli.
