Greetings from KL, Malaysia! Hi there, I’m Hema, the author, recipe developer, photographer and face behind The Sudden Cook. More than 15 years ago I got married and suddenly realised I had to do the cooking! So I was a beginner cook on a mission to feed my husband and then two kids. Some recipes had me winning, some had me having a meltdown on the kitchen floor.
With this website, I’ve shared recipes which have worked for me and included step-by-step photos hoping to inspire you to get busy in the kitchen!
When I’m not busy researching and trying out new recipes, I’m putting my writing skills to use for Malaysia’s premier parenting website, www.makchic.com which offers relatable and informative content for parents in Malaysia.
